All beds are constructed with heavy upholstery fabric. We use bonded suede or sturdy velveteen for the outside material. The interior is either in quality sherpa or anti-pill fleece depending on the chosen design. The removable reversible pillow is also made up in the sherpa and/or polar fleece, depending on the chosen design. Every bed is sewn with heavy bonded nylon upholstery thread on a commercial sewing machine. They are stuffed to capacity with non-clumping poly fiberfill and weigh between 3 to 8 lbs. depending on the size of the bed. These beds are not a temporary item that will have to be replaced in a few months because they fell apart. They are totally washable in warm water and cool dry. I pride myself in making the absolute best bed I can possibly make so that we both will be thrilled.
